About

Background

Originally trained in Product Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, I began my career designing and crafting physical products: from functional objects to conceptual pieces that questioned how we relate to the things around us. My process was hands-on and experimental, exploring materials like wood and rethinking traditional techniques to create objects with both purpose and story.

Design Practice

I approach design as a continuous dialogue between user needs and creative exploration. My current work focuses on crafting digital experiences that are intuitive, functional, and emotionally engaging. I’m especially interested in usability, accessibility, and how AI and emerging technologies can enhance the creative process.

Transition to UX/UI Design

After several years working independently, I became increasingly interested in how people interact with digital products and the challenges they face daily. This curiosity led me to UX/UI design, where I could apply my design sensibility to solve real user problems. In 2024, I began formal training in User Experience Design, shifting from material experimentation to a research-based, data-driven approach.
